·The method of calculating a load capacity of  Hybrid EPS

When mixed EPS with a mixed load, EPS capacity calculated as follows:

1, when the EPS with a multi-motors starts at the same time, the following principles should be followed by the capacity of EPS. EPS capacity = band frequency + the motor power of the soft-start× 2.5 + a star delta starter motor × 3 + directmotor starter × 5.

2, when the EPS with a multi-motors and they all start independently (not at the same time), then the capacity of EPS should follow the these principles, EPS capacity = sum of all motor power, but must meet the following requirements.

1) the largest single EPS motor power which start directly is one seventh of the EPS capacity ;

2) The largest single EPS motor power of the star delta starter is one fourth of the EPS capacity;

3) The largest single motor power of the soft-starter is one third of the EPS capacity;

4) The largest motor power of brand frequency is not more than a single EPS capacity;

5) If the above requirements are not met, then the above conditions should be the maximum capacity of adjusted EPS, motor power should be directly to start, followed by the start-delta, then there are soft-starter , and finally brand frequency starter

3, when the mixed-type EPS with mixed load, EPS capacity should follow the following principles: EPS capacity = the sum of all the load power rate, but must meet the following six, requirements, if not met, determining the EPS capacity in accordance with the largest capacity.

1) the electric motor to start at the same time is EPS capacity’s 1 / 7;

2) the sum of the electric motor with start-delta is EPS capacity’s 1 / 4;

3) the sum of the electric motor with soft start is EPS capacity’s 1 / 3;

4) the sum of the brand frequency electric motor is less than EPS capacity.
